Welcome

This is a blog created so that the children who are reading the books from the shortlist can post their own book reviews and let everyone know which one is their favourite.  The children are going to read all 6 books from the 7 - 11 shorlist and will be encouraged to look at the criteria given to the teacher judges to help them decide which book they think should be given the award.  This is a fantastic opportunity as it is the only book awards in which teachers are the judges.

    Sky Hawk is a book that contains a mixture of feelings and emotions. It is the story of an Osprey who goes through many challenging and life threatening experiences. I would recommend this book to those who like stories based on a mystery. I would give the book ten out of ten as it is a truly amazing story!
